WHY IS IT, that people feel compelled to "chat up" your sexy Elementalist Monk or gorgoues Mesmer ?

It is as clear as day that the Gender of your choosen character very rarely reflects the gender of THE PLAYER!

I cannot count on my hands how many times Apolina has been hit on, or how many, sometimes sleazy comments she has recieved in a single play session!.

Sure the character's are sexy! Yes they look great!, but honestly for those of you who believe you are somehow or in someway going to enchance your *cough* "love life" via trying to chat up a IN GAME CHARACTER LOL !! , seriously need a good wake-up call!.

I don't mind recieving comments like "Wow you character looks hot" or "Damn she's fine, nice work. ALL GOOD, some people, myself included, put a lot of effort into the tailoring the appearance of their choosen characters. It's fun making them look the best they can be.

BUT! honestly getting Messages of stupid ass people badgering you or trying to address THE PLAYER and NOT the character

...... those people i find freaky! lol with a capital "F"!......

*Shudder* This is why I hate kids. I can gaurente you, half of these people are males going through puberty - walking bags of hormones that just want to "get it over with." Beantown has many, MANY schools in and around it, so there's an abundance of teens wandering around. Just seeing how they stare at women, espcially my finacee (who is.. well, let's just say gifted in the chest area) makes me sick (And rather moody, I might add. I've scared off a kid once for staring at her. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU LOOKING AT?!").

Maybe this should be heard: Guys - PUT THOSE THINGS AWAY. There's a time and place for EVERYTHING, and it's called college.

You know what I do about this problem? I only make dude characters. Make em ugly so you don't draw attention to yourself.

But as for the main topic..why? Because people like to combine two things: Sex and video games. If they can type well with one hand, they assume they don't need a significant other in real life, and that sexy elementalist dance does it for em also, these people tend to be shy real life and thus can let on over a video game. Steer cleer!

Yo yo yo there man, I'm a kid, to be exact 11 years old, and I'm not like those other losers, I actually have a girl already! Those guys won't get a girl cuz of what they do to get one. That's just common sense!

when i was newer to the game i thought it was a riot to roleplay a little silly flirting, like being male w/x and walking around with my shirt off and flexing and stuff. not to be serious, just as a joke. Anyway i dont think its that big of a deal. Is it a roleplay game after all.

As for me im 17 and never hit on anyone in the game for one reason... they are not real people, anyone who wants to get it on with 3D art need help

But then something strange happens: GW won't let me add his name to the ignorelist. Slightly baffled by this, I look for the reason, and find it quickly: he's on my friendlist since a short time, but I hadn't recognised his new nick.
He was trying to continue a forum-foodfight we had on guildforum.
The misconception made both of us laugh after seeing where things went wrong.

Some lvl 2 Warrior was PMing my lvl 18 (I think at the time) Monk in Ascalon, asking if I was a real girl. I ignored him while thinking, I'm too old for you..., until I realized age != level.
